Juli started her interest and career in photography by photographing children in black and white film and hand-tinting her work with oil paints. Since then, she has completed post-graduate work in photography and has been mentored by several admired photographers.
Her strength is in connecting with her subject to co-create portraiture that reflects the authentic self. She loves to photograph women at all stages of life, expecting and new mothers, babies and children. She also loves working with families, teens and couples to create memorable images that will be valued for generations.
Juli lives in Santa Barbara, California with her husband and two children. She is a member of Professional Photographers of Santa Barbara County.
